I don’t like stevia, are these recipes suitable for me?

I struggled with stevia initially as well. Then I discovered pure stevia powder which has a much cleaner taste. I found if I used it sparingly I could make delicious treats that my boys were also happy to eat.

I know that stevia isn’t for everyone, so I’ve included variations for each recipe to help if you prefer to use other sweeteners and even good old sugar. One of the best parts about using pure stevia powder is that the only function it provides is sweetness, so it’s relatively easy to substitute sweeteners just based on taste.

I have allergies. Will the recipes be suitable for me?

It depends. Each recipe comes with variations to suit most common food allergies. There are 2 exceptions – eggs and nuts. In making the recipes low-carb AND sugar-free there were enough challenges without trying to remove eggs and nuts as well.

Will I need any weird ingredients for these recipes?

I guess it depends on what you call ‘weird’. I do use pure stevia powder to sweeten most of the recipes, but have included alternatives for other sweeteners including white sugar. So there are options.

The only other unusual ingredients are coconut flour and psyllium which are only used in a handful of recipes. I do use baking powder in lots of the recipes. Everything else are normal, easy-to-find real food ingredients. No gums or chemicals.

Will I need to have a computer in my kitchen?

Definitely not, unless that’s what you’d like. It’s up to you whether you choose to print your recipes or download them onto your smart phone, ipad or tablet.

Will I be able to read the eCookbook on my ipad, tablet or smartphone?

Yes! The ebook is in pdf format. There are detailed instructions for saving to your ipad or other device on the download page.

How long will I have access to the download page?

I’d say no. While the majority of the recipes are low-carb, my intention wasn’t to remove all carbohydrates, just enough to keep my blood sugar levels happy.

Absolutely! My baking style is rustic and simple. The recipes all use only a handful of ingredients. I’ve made them as simple and easy to follow as possible.

I prefer print books. Is ‘The Sunday Baking Sessions’ available as a traditional book?

I’m afraid not. All my books are eCookbooks except for my two print books ‘And the Love is Free’ and ‘5 Ingredients 10 Minutes’.
